Upgrading can be done at a smithing table by placing a leather in template slot, higher tier upgrade and a backpack in next slots. To avoid an overpowered backpack from the very beginning, the Traveler's Backpack has to be upgraded to reach its maximum storage and tank capacity. The backpack also provides special buttons - sort, quick stack and transfer to seamlessly manage inventory! All inventory slots and tanks can be accessed via external pipes.
